Vivo X80 and X80 Pro Launch with Different Chipsets

Vivo has officially launched the flagship phone duo Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro in China. Both phones are successors to the Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro which were launched towards the end of last year. 

As successors, both phones have a number of specification and feature improvements, especially in the chipset aspect. 

Both phones have power with a high-end chipset from Mediatek, namely Dimensity 9000. However, the "Pro" model has another variant with Qualcomm's flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The maximum clock speed for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor (CPU) is slightly faster than the Dimensity 9000, which is 3.0 GHz versus 2.8 GHz. Vivo X80 Pro Specifications 

Vivo X80 Pro has many specifications that are more capable than Vivo X80.

In terms of screen, for example, this phone has a type of low-power AMOLED panel (LTPO2) with a diagonal area of 6.78 inches, QHD Plus resolution, and a refresh rate that can change automatically from 1-120 Hz.

In the upper center of the screen, there is a punch hole module that contains a 32 MP selfie camera. Switching to the back, Vivo X80 Pro has four rear cameras that already have glass lenses from the famous camera lens company Zeiss. 

The four cameras arranged symmetrically in the square-shaped module consist of a 50 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultrawide camera, and two telephoto cameras with a resolution of 12 MP and 8 MP, respectively. 

For the performance of the phone, the 5,000 mAh battery supports fast charging with 80 watts, it also has two 8 GB / 12 GB RAM options and 256 GB / 512 GB storage media. 

Vivo X80 Specs 

The "regular" Vivo X80 has a screen of exactly the same size as its "brother". However, the screen adopts a regular AMOLED panel with a resolution that is pegged in Full HD Plus. Then, the refresh rate can also only be set to 120 Hz only. 

In the photography sector, the position and resolution of the phone's front camera are similar to the Pro variant. It's just that the camera configuration will be slightly different when we move to the back of the Vivo X80.

In addition to battery capacity, Vivo X80 also does not have a number of capable features that equip Vivo X80 Pro.

It is not yet known whether these two phones will be sold outside the Chinese market, or not.
