Palm Treo 680

Treo 680 offers solid performance and capabilities within the email feature, integrated Bluetooth anda Palm operating systems are intuitive.

Palm Treo 680 a little more streamlined than its predecessor with dimensions of 112 x 58 x 20 mm with a weight of 156 grams. This series is also more comfortable to be grasped by a curve and a sharp edge. You'll also memperhatkan that the antennae dumpy has gone to create the impression that is straight and graceful.

Treo 680 has a touch screen with a sharp diagonal size of 2.6 inches and 64.000 colors and resolution 320 x 320 pixels. In addition, you can still see the display from the screen in the sun. Treo 680 is easy to navigate with one hand through external control and touch screen feels exceptionally comfortable and useful.

On the bottom of the screen, you will find a set of the same navigation controls that can be found on most Treo. There is talk button and termination of calls, four-direction keypad select buttons in the middle and shortcuts to the phone application, calendar, messaging and home page. You can set back the last four buttons to different applications mebuka. Furthermore, when you press the option key together with one of four buttons that it will run four additional programs again so you'll get eight shotcut.

Treo 680 QWERTY keyboard does not differ greatly from its predecessor, but there are some changes that slightly disturbing. The shape of the buttons is more rectangular and the buttons are also not very prominent from the surface of the phone. Although the buttons are solid and have a good background, distance between the keys feel a little closer so that even with small hands, we will also find it difficult to press the correct button.

Phone at the top, there is a swith to silent ringtone but the SD card slot is now located at the right with a protective cap. On the left side there are buttons to adjust the sound and there are buttons that can be set according to user desires. Rear side of the unit is the stylus, Spiker and the camera lens and self portrait mirror (without flash) while the 2.5mm headset jack and the multi-connector port are along the bottom.

Sprint announced it will launch the expected Palm Pre on June 6. This phone, which is a combination between mobile and PDA, will be available in selected stores and will have a price of $199.99 with a service agreement included in a two-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate.
