Altek T8680

Altek is far better known as a manufacturer of digital cameras, is now presenting its first camera phone that is named T8680. The phone comes with offers three functions into one: cameras, cell phones and mini-cam.

There has been no leak of the complete specification. But the T8680 is rumored to be equipped among others with a TFT display measuring 3-inch touchscreen LCD, 12.2 MP sensor is 1/2.33 inch CCD and 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. With dimensions 113.5x52x16.55 mm, the phone weighs just around 135 grams.

Altek apparently just released the T8680 in Taiwan and China. Based on the information via Digitimes, there is a camera phone is offered with the price of 3.000 yuan (about U.S. $ 439) and NT $ 14,000 (U.S. $ 427), launched in September.

Leo Altek

This handset is Leo Altek, the world's first 14 megapixel camera. This phone will be launched at CommunicAsia Expo later this month and comes with 720p HD video recording feature is also a 3x optical zoom lens with Xenon and LED flash. None of the 12-megapixel camera phone which has no optical zoom in addition to this Altek Leo. Other features include Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The best part of the phone in the form of Google's Android OS and not the usual OS. However, unfortunately the other features of this device has not been revealed. Altek Leo is more accurately present when Nokia has announced the launch of N8 and Sony Ericsson with its Satio product.
